The key difference between the two is the point in the game at which the dealer takes their hole card. In American Blackjack the dealer will take their hole card before anyone at the table makes any decisions regarding their own cards.

There are several minor differences between the two with regards to central facets of the game such as splitting and doubling down.

In European Blackjack, the dealer won’t receive their hole card until after the players at the table have made their decisions about how to play their cards.

However, as with any classic Blackjack, the goal of Live88 European Blackjack remains the same! The goal is to team up with the table and come up with hands higher than the dealer’s. But be careful not to climb higher than 21. Since the dealer can’t peek for a Blackjack with nohole card in use, the decision is all yours!
